-Access: On arrival in Windsor there is a walk from the coach park to the Castle (average approximately a 10 minute walk) and then a walk to the town centre.

Windsor Castle suggest you allow 1½-2 hours for your visit. The Castle is at the top of a steep hill, and the visitor route covers long distances. We recommend you wear comfortable shoes. As Windsor Castle is a working royal palace, sometimes the entire Castle or the State Apartments within the Castle need to be closed at short notice

- Entry: Windsor Castle entry ticket USUALLY covers the following; State Apartments - Ceremonial Route, State Apartments - Historic Route, Semi-State Rooms will be closed for our visit, Queen Mary's Dolls House, St. Georges Chapel (St George’s Chapel is open for visitors on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10:00 to 16:15) & Moat Room

- Please note: Entrance to Windsor Castle includes St George’s Chapel (unless on a Sunday when the Chapel is used for worship only) There is NO ACCESS to the crypt where the royals are buried
